Fotona LightWalker is a multifunctional device that generates light from erbium and neodymium lasers, considered the "gold standard" in dentistry and medicine. Fotona Lightwalker is one of dentistry's most advanced laser systems, with many possible procedures capable of replacing almost any other equipment. There is even a protocol to treat snoring called NightLase. Most techniques are patented and approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

How is it different from other lasers?
Modern dentistry does not stand still; new devices come to market yearly to improve procedures and attract new opportunities. The Fotona system differs from other lasers because it has many patented methods for delivering laser stimulations. This means that no other brand has such technologies. For example, in a neodymium laser, these ultra-long and ultra-short pulses underlie the FRAC3 and PIANO modes. In the FRAC3 mode, the three-dimensional effect of laser pulses on the superficial and middle layers of the skin occurs, providing a reconstruction of the dermis. PIANO deeply heats the tissues, causing their thickening and lifting effect. And for the erbium laser, this is a cold mode and exposure to an ablative laser without damaging the skin - SmoothLase.
The latter allows you to work on mucous membranes, which has many applications in dentistry, gynecology, urology, and other medical specialties. Also, in the SmoothLase mode, you can work on the mucous membrane of the oral cavity, which allows you to rejuvenate the skin from the inside.
